1. About Virtual Career Days

Virtual Career Days is an ongoing digital career network operated by Virtual Days AB.

The network enables students, recent graduates, and other job seekers to meet employers, participate in digital career events and presentations, and receive information about relevant career and recruitment opportunities.

The service is free of charge for participants and can be accessed via computer, mobile phone, and tablet.

As a member of Virtual Career Days, you gain access to recurring events, employers, presentations, and other activities within the network. You may also receive ongoing information from Virtual Career Days about upcoming events, participating employers, and relevant career opportunities.

By registering, you accept these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Profile

When you register, a profile is created for you within Virtual Career Days.

Depending on the information you provide, your profile may include, for example, your name, contact details, education, work experience, and other information relevant to career and recruitment purposes.

You may also choose to upload a CV.

When you participate in an event, your profile may be searchable and accessible to employers participating in the event. Employers may use the platform's features to find and contact candidates.

If you have uploaded a CV, it may be made available to participating employers as part of the event's recruitment and matching functions.

Your profile is not intended to be publicly available on the internet. It is accessible within Virtual Career Days and its events.

3. Contact with Employers

A central part of Virtual Career Days is enabling candidates and employers to find and communicate with one another.

Participating employers may therefore search for candidates, access available profile information, and contact candidates through the platform's features.

When an employer processes your personal data for its own recruitment purposes, the employer is independently responsible for such processing in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable legislation.

4. Visiting Employer Booths and Participating in Presentations

When you actively visit an employer's digital booth, participate in an employer-specific presentation, or otherwise clearly interact with an employer, information about your participation and relevant information from your profile will be shared with that employer.

By taking such an active action, you consent to the employer contacting you after the event with a relevant follow-up email relating to your participation. Such follow-up may, for example, include a thank-you for your visit or participation, information from the booth or presentation, and information about job vacancies, internships, trainee programmes, and other relevant career and recruitment opportunities.

The employer becomes an independent data controller for its continued processing of your personal data. Consent to follow-up does not constitute general or unlimited consent to future marketing. For any continued communication beyond the relevant follow-up, the employer is responsible for ensuring that it has a valid legal basis.

5. Communication from Virtual Career Days

Virtual Career Days is an ongoing career network, and communication with members forms part of the service.

For as long as you are a member, Virtual Days may therefore send you information relating to the network and the service, including:

• registration confirmations and information about your account,

• information and reminders about upcoming events,

• programmes and information about presentations and activities,

• information about participating employers,

• information about relevant career and recruitment opportunities,

• practical and technical information,

• support and follow-up relating to activities within the network.

You may terminate your membership and request the deletion of your account at any time.

Communication that falls outside the service and career network for which you registered will be handled in accordance with applicable rules on direct marketing.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date, as well as for any activity carried out through your account.

You decide which information you add to your profile and whether you wish to upload a CV.

You should not provide sensitive personal data or other information that is not necessary for career and recruitment purposes.

The service may not be used for unlawful purposes, harassment, improper collection of information, automated bulk collection of personal data, development of competing services, or other activities that may harm Virtual Days, employers, or other users.

7. Suspension

If the service is used in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or in a manner that may harm the service or other users, Virtual Days has the right to restrict or suspend the account.

In cases of serious misuse, Virtual Days may also seek compensation for damage resulting from the breach.

8. Availability and Liability

We work to ensure that Virtual Career Days is available and operates in a secure and reliable manner, but we cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.

Virtual Days is not responsible for employers' offers, recruitment decisions, content, or continued communication with candidates.

Each employer is responsible for its own recruitment activities.

9. Personal Data

Information about how Virtual Days processes personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy describes, among other things, which personal data we process, why it is processed, when information may be shared with employers and service providers, and what rights you have.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms and Conditions when the service, our operations, or applicable legislation changes.

The current version will be published on our websites. In the event of material changes, we will inform users in an appropriate manner.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter.

If we are unable to reach an agreement, the dispute will be determined in accordance with Swedish law by a competent Swedish court.

12. Contact and Termination of Membership

You may contact us at any time if you have questions or wish to terminate your account and membership in Virtual Career Days.
